Talking of fakes here is a fake Lowry I suppose when I purchased it I was hoping it was the real thing but chance would be a fine thing! However it is an original oil painting and it is not too badly executed, even the signature looks convincing. I could never afford the real thing so this will have to do!

It is a real oil painting though, I have only a print...... The building in the forefront looks unusual enough to be recorded in histories of Manchester, if it is/was indeed real! I'd keep it too, though.

Lots and lots of fake lowry's out there, this looks better than most, to be fair, it's probably as good as the real think, just enjoy. It looks like it could be Ashton Town Hall square in greater Manchester cheers Peter
