I found a reference to the company in 1915, and a reference to them with ONE son, not "Sons", in 1919.
Due to how close I am to Holland, Michigan, this likely came from their Holland Branch, not their Zeeland branch, in Michigan.
Corn. Pieper & Sons, dealers and makers of jewelry, watches, clocks. Gold- and silver-smiths.
Alarm clock made by Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Co.
It wasn't functional. The hour hand still doesn't work, but the minute hand I got working when I removed it from its case. Its alarm sounds terrible. There had been a spider and its web inside of the movements. It died long ago and now rots outside.
I also removed the rust and polished it up. Still ticks, quite loudly even after being oiled.
Nice old clock :)
Thanks, Trey.
