I pick up this pocket watch at a watch club ..I was able to trace it back to the store that sold it,It was sold in 1905 from a jewelry store in walla, walla Washington..The name of the store is Martin jewelry. There name is on the watch dial and also the movement..They are still open and doing business today. I thought they would like to see a photo of a watch they sold,so I sent them two pictures.. They e-mail me back -telling me how nice it was to see a item that their great-great grandfather sold
Beautiful!! Gold?
Very very nice and lovely to have the history too!!
Great watch!
I forgot to list the name of the jewelry store that sold this watch back in 1905.. Martin's Jewelers in Walla, Walla, Washington- The store is still in the same location--10 West Main St, it was open in 1889 and still owned by the same family (That's what you can find out when you research something ) Most of my watches have some kind of paper work that I got by researching them--It's hard work but lots of fun doing it.....Try it your self !!!!
