Hello, This clock belonged to my Auntie. I don't know much about it so would like your help identifying it please. The clock face states it is a Seth Thomas and also states Scotland, but the clock mechanism states made in Germany.
The clock is made of brass and steel.
It is 21" x 21" at its widest points.

In 1955, a flood badly damaged the Seth Thomas factory. They phased out movement manufacturing and began importing many movements from Germany. Hermle, in the Black forest of Germany, has made many movements for Seth Thomas clocks.
I'm not certain but I think your clock was probably made after 1968. The battery powered quartz movement may be a replacement. It's a nice looking clock in good shape.
