I have absolutely no knowledge of antiques or tiles. I've always loved them, but never could keep track of the information. I bought this table because I loved the color and style. Shortly after, I learned that it was made in 1920's or 30's and may be referred to as California Tile Table. I have no clue what it's worth, but I love it. While the lighter part of the tile looks white, it's actually slightly tinged yellow- just slightly.
Now I can't stop looking for these tables. Can anyone identify this item/tile?
Didn't find it in the Catalina Island pottery text. You might search hispano moresque tile on google and view all the images available. Might be worth trying that for Catalina also, since the book is limited.
This is a reasonably good online reference for California tile -

art.pottery, Thank you so much for the suggestions. I had no luck looking in the hispano moresque search on google. I sent a couple local antique dealers some pictures, but I've not received a response.
artfoot, thank you. I'll take a look at that site right now.
Artfoot, I found it! http://www.caltiles.com/6f_1_b.JPG Unfortunately, the maker or date isn't identified.
Alright - it's a start. Keep poking around and the answer will turn up - a lot of research on California tile has been done. I'm far from an expert on tile but my guess would be either D&M or Tudor.
