I was at my local flea market a few years ago and was going through a dealer friend of mine costume jewelry case that she was selling for 50 cents each.I picked out a hand full that came to 10.00.There were pairs of earrings ang a few chains and some bracelets and a few rings all of which she purchased at a church sale the day before.I took out my trusty loop and got a better look at them and saw that they were all gold 14 k and 18 k so I paid the her the 10 dollars she was asking and took them over to the next aisle where I sold them to the gold buyer for 500 dollars. Boy was she surprised when I brought the money back to her. She was so happy that she gave the single silver man on the horse plus 200.00 See the above pictures. The following Sunday she handed me a big shopping bag with the coach and the other horses in it and said to me because I was so honest with her that she would sell it to me for 25.00. It is stamped Sterling on several places on the carriage and the horses. The work is very detailed and the doors on the coach open and close. The piece is 22 inches long and the coach is 6 inches tall . It could use a good polishing as its been in my curio cabinet for years . I don't know who made it as it isn't signed anywhere that I can find. Any help would be appreciated to help identify this piece. I have never see another one
How wonderful!!! Great story.....
