Hello everyone.
Bought these 8 years ago for 50 cents each.
I think they would date 1910-20s and are made by Australian company Stokes & Sons Melbourne.
The Kangaroo stands alone and is 3 1/2" high and weighs 228gm.
The Emu is attached to a base with gum leaf decoration and is 2 1/4" high and weighs 136gm.
Not really sure what they are made from....bronze? brass? They are not magnetic. They are marked EPNS although very little of this remains apart from on the base of the emu stand.
A bit unusual to find I think like this....I have seen this pair attached to napkin rings etc (certainly not this size or weight) but never just as figurines, or I guess they could be paper weights!
