Hello everyone.
Have had this brooch for a couple of months now....I think it is really lovely.
It is, I would think, "School of Rhoda Wager", probably made in the art deco era 1930/40s. The stone/glass is a citrine colour I think, unfortunately it is cracked, but can really only be seen from the back, so I can live with that.
There are 2 plaques on the back of the pendant part of the brooch. The left plaque shows a partial kangaroo, and the right plaque has M&C ( or M&CO), so I am supposing these would be an Australian maker's mark, which I have not seen before.
I do not expect to identify this maker either, unless perhaps Jewels1900 may have come across these marks before on something.
