A visit to the Thrift stores will not being complete without stop at the Jewellery showcase, really, do I need another addiction !!, well at least they are small collectable(excused) , last night I found this vintage brooch with a textured gold tone metal bird sitting on a wire work nest with three tiny faux pearl eggs. This is a well known book piece and is often referred to as Jeanne's "signature piece"(picture 4)
Very cute little brooch in perfect condition, date from the 70s
This brooch measure 1.25 inch diameter, and is very three dimensional. The pin is signed "Jeanne©" on the back and has a safety clasp.
