A few years ago I gave a friend some gold jewelry, knowing that I am Native American she gave this and a couple other pieces to me in return. She said this belonged to her mother who was born in 1917 and also Native American, but she didn't know when she got it. I put it up and didn't think about it until last night. Would love to hear your thoughts :)
I have a couple other pieces that my grandmother gave me that I'm courious about and will post them a little later.
This is a lovely hand made necklace, but it's not really possible to tell you when it was made. Since your friend has no idea when her mother got it, there's no time frame available. She could have acquired it in the 1940s - or the 1970s.
True, I can't decide if it's early because of the clasps or reto with the way it's beaded lol. I may try and locate her to get some more info on it ????. Thanks for the comment :)
