    Since so many of you like signs and advertisements it seemed to me that some of you would enjoy my recent finds. As far as I know these were used at the old Olympia in Detroit for advertising. Possibly along the boards. They may also be from the 1950's or 60's. I don't know for sure and need to do some more research on them. They seem to be made of a composite cardboard material and are HUGE! It is 98 inches in length and 30 1/2 inches tall. Enjoy! Maybe posting this will help the Wings win tonight against the Sharks... : )

    I am not sure where the rest of the sign is. It seems to have been cut off or there may be a second piece to it.

      Messier made an amazing call guaranteeing a victory in the Stanley Cup Playoffs and bringing a cup to NY! Wouldn't it be nice to see the Wings and Rangers in the Stanley Cup Finals with all the history between the two teams. Hockey is awesome and the season is right around the corner....

      That would be classic.I love it when two of the original six face off ! Can't wait to see what the Rangers are going to do this year.Last year was a roller coaster.From moments of brilliance to "Duh...Was the game scheduled for tonight?"
