I recently acquired these two Loetz pieces.
Pics one and two are Loetz DEK 356. It is not listed on the Loetz site. It stands 9 cms or 3.5” high. I believe the décor is Ciselé . I passed up an opportunity to buy one last year and I regretted it ever since. Now I am happy to include this one in my collection. I am really drawn to the quality of the applied gilt enamelling and turquoise glass cabochons.
Pics three and four are of a Loetz miniature, standing 4.5 cm or 1.77 inches.
I love the "pinched" three sided form. The décor is very reflective and believe this to be Ciselé on a cobalt blue ground. As you can see in the pictures, these little guys can be quite addictive. Loetz miniatures were made for Liberty department store in London, England as perfume samplers.
