I found this in my barn. It is obviously some sort of pulley. I would appreciate any information of how or what this was used for.

Thanks so much! I googled it and now it makes sense to me. Obviously, it sitting upside down on my porch. I found a smaller pulley a while ago and now realize it's part of this hay trolley. I am going to clean it up and display it as it once was. Amazingly enough nothing has seized and the all parts move freely.
