It was only at 4am this morning that a found out this is called a bridge lamp, or at least that is the conclusion I have come to. I found an exact duplicate on Etsy, where someone was selling a lampshade on one of these, but I have not received a response from that seller about the lamp.
I really have no idea what type of lamp this is, what is the material it is made out of, or who the manufacturer is. The finial at the top was broken off. Found this at a salvation army type of store we have here in Utah called Deseret Industries. Happened upon this forum, trying to find pictures of the same type of lamp.
If anyone knows what the manufacturer is, what the type of lamp it is, what type of shade its suppose to use, would greatly be appreciated. I like to collect vintage lamps and have them look as they did at the time of their inception. I was considering an Edison lightbulb with cage on this, if that is what this type of lamp used. Also, I have noticed that there is not as much ornamentation/detailing on this lamp as I have seen in other bridge type lamps, only on the base is there significant detailing, when compared to the rest of the lamp.
