      Looks like it may be blacksmith made.

      Seems short for a fireplace poker. About the length of a keyboard seems a little close to the fire.

      I believe it is blacksmith made. 16" To short for a fireplace tool. The end has a curved hook. I wanted to post a couple of closer shots but guess that is not allowed
