This is the second piece in this decor that I've come across. The first was a couple of years ago (see last photo which includes the other - PN II-6176). This is from a series of pieces (PN II-6144 through 6179) in 1908 that were all made for Max Emmanuel in London. "Kristall schiefgewaltzt" is crystal "rolled aslant" - with "grünen Tropfen", or green drips, and "angelegter rand" or applied rim. They also have ground and polished pontils, which you would expect for a piece so decorated. It is quite possible given the 1908 production date that these pieces may have an assigned Ausführung number, but this has not been determined at this time.
A great test of Spellcheck Tolerances! Love the Kristall schiefgewaltzt's ?... !
Indeed - sometimes I have to type those words several times before auto-correct will give up and let me type what I intend! Andy and I were just having this conversation - that the kristall schiefgewaltzt pieces have a "noble" look about them.
