    We don't often see nice cake stands at local auctions, but I was able to get this one at a recent estate auction. It's a nice large size for a birthday cake.

      Beautiful stand, what a great find. Would love to find something like that. I think the last one I seen had a cover also but it was plastic.

      thank you Phil : ) seems these plain stands (often noted as bakers' stand from their use in bakeries) are a bit more difficult to find and ID when antique as this one. Mosser does make some similar new stands in clear and colored glass.
