I am trying to find out manufacturer and the year. Any help would be appreciated. It has a wagon wheel type pattern on it. My grandmother was born in 1903, my father in 1945. He said this lamp was around when he was very small. On the base is marked F101

Seems like a Gone with the wind lamp from Victorian Era
      here is a link : http://www.gaslampantiques.com/magazine/features.php?article=157

You could sell it between $100 and $300, check on Ebay, Craiglist and 1sdibs, good luck!

I think so too, but I am curious as to why mine has a wagon wheel pattern on it. I am versed in manufacturing marks on jars and bottles, but not with lamps.

Does anyone know how to tell who manufacturer is?

      I don't think that's possible.

I think these are from around 1950s-60s or so. saw one listed as by Hedco but no mention of where that attribution comes from.
