Hamilton Watch Co. Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Advertised as, "The Famous Hamilton 992 Railroad Model."
Dependable performance combined with rugged beauty and sturdy construction have made the Hamilton 992 a favored time-piece among railroad men of America. Important dust-proof features have been incorporated into the design of these Railroad Model cases ... they are especially constructed to meet the stern requirements and maintain the high standards of accuracy so essential in a railroad watch.
This watch, with serial number 2564186, is a 992 grade, model 1, 16 size, lever set, 21 ruby jewels, gold screw settings, 3/4 nickel finish plate, double roller, adjusted to 5 positions, railroad grade watch, that was sent to the finishing department on November 11, 1929. It is cased in a open face, 10k gold-filled Keystone Watch Co. marked Hamilton Railroad Model.
The 6-1/2" railroad spikes and the No. 5853 New Haven Railroad Standard Watch Certificate used as a photo backdrop.
