Good Evening CW Members--- 10:00 PM)2016-8-16
I visit my 2 thrift store today many time during the day, in both place the jewelry showcase not really moving( no new product add to it), when i get there for my last trip of the day, i spot this pendant right away, hey this is not there before, i ask the person in charge to have a look, i am not very familiar with Cameo, but by looking at it, i feel good about it, look very well done and quality is present for sure, very delicate and beautiful profile of a distinguish lady, nice hair dress with plenty of details( picture 3 show my light in different position for showing the engrave).
The mounting remind me my last brooch I post few day's ago, extremely fine work on it as show on picture 2.
A member mention to me few day's ago, that this look to him that i have being bite by jewelry addiction, I am not shy to say, OMG YES, YES, LOL
This pendant measure 1.50 inch by 1.75 inch
The cameo measure 1 inch by 1.25 inch.
Many Thanks Everyone for Viewing.
Alan

That's a beautiful cameo.
I think I like the back side of the pendant better than the front! Exquisite piece, Alan! [;>)

Oh man...I hate to say this -- but Why is it bubbly on the left side of the cameo by the chin? It does not look carved to me ( the face ) but rather a poured resin and molded in my opinion.
Oh my problem to not clean it before take close up, I hate to say this but this is only dust, sorry about that, :-(
Many thanks for you comment, much appreciated to take some of your time to stop by.
Truly Regards
Alan
Not the dusty things -- the waves in the material by the chin over a bit.....wavy
I 'm surely not a specialit on Cameo !, but one thing I do know, I can recognize resin when I see it, this one is not resin, to much weight to it.
Thank you very much again for your concerns antiquerose.
Truly Regards.
