here's another interesting piece of antique plastic from Japan. i believe that it depicts Buddha and adult and child disciples under the Bodhi tree - which is where Buddha received his enlightenment. it's kind of interesting that they are in a scallop shell!

These are interesting! I saw something almost identical to this in one of my local thrift shops. There was no sort of identification printed on it, however.

This is really nice Ho2! I know it's plastic, but the figures inside look like they were actually carved!
