    I'm not sure if this is a decorative bowl or ? I love the shape, though, and the colors. It was passed down from my grandmother. It measures 7 1/4" in diameter and about 1 7/8 in height. Top edge is sort of rolled over. The back states: SAJI, Made in Japan, Fancy China

      Lovely!. Made by a company founded by Haruzo Saji in 1889, in Nagoya. According to marks4antiques, your maker’s mark dates the piece in the 1920-40’s period
