Train photos found in a Photoshop envelope dated 1929. Can anyone identify these trains. The person who took the photos worked around the Midwest building water towers.

If I knew the road name and the number on the locomotive all would be known. Will have to go with wheel configuration.
      #1 is 4-6-2 pacific class.
      #2 appears to be a 4-6-0 decapod.
#3 I am having trouble counting the wheels. I was thinking 2-6-0 Mogul but it looks too beefy so perhaps a 2-8-0 consolidation as I think I am missing a drive wheel.

Could #1 be this one, Locomotive 2568 from Southern Pacific? They had a service across the Midwest to Chicago. https://contentdm.library.unr.edu/cdm/ref/collection/spphotos/id/2200
