I really like this bottle! The glass itself looks like it was meant to imitate jade. The green overlay glass is translucent and features a monkey picking peaches on one side and two cranes on the other.
Not really overlay but layered glass that is cut back to reveal this beautiful display of birds and monkeys. Look up Pekin Glass Snuff bottles and you'll see other similar ones. This one is quite special and yes, old
