These three vases were all purchased separately and I figure if I have three of them, they shouldn't be all that scarce but they have so far remained unidentified. I'm leaning toward Fratelli Betti but have seen some Zelezny products that are also similarly buttressed.
There is a silver foil label on one of the vases with a tiny trace of black ink on it. I have tried some pretty extreme magnification trying to coax some information out of it to no avail - just scratchy foil.
The tallest vase is 15" (39 cm); the others are 12 1/4" (31.7 cm) and 12" (30.5 cm). The bases are flat and polished.
Any guidance or confirmation will be appreciated.
THANK YOU ALL FOR THE LOVE AND GUIDANCE. I am pretty well satisfied that these vases are Jordan Imports products made in Venice, Italy, designed by Jack Blanco and manufactured by Spartaco Colelli. I'm also satisfied that this is an upside-down JI label.
This is strictly a guess but I'd go with Italian over Bohemian for this group.
Thank you - that's sort of my feeling too but I also sometimes think they may not even be European.
I wonder what KAREN thinks ?????
I think Murano art Glass -- as see my big one:

antiquerose - Thank you very much for your effort. From looking at the links you sent, I have no doubt that whoever made the Jordan Import vases is the same as the maker of my vases but I am not convinced that the label on mine is a JI label. It does seem to confirm that the vases are of Venetian (Murano) origin though, so neither Empoli nor Bohemian. Thanks again.
Yes....they look the same but from what I can make of the label it looks different yet. Can you start another Post with JUST more pics of the label from all angle, or from outside in the sun?
I've added one other slightly different angle view of the label that maybe shows what's left of the ink a little better. The pictures were taken outside in sunlight.
A little quick research on Jordan Imports reveals that most of their products were designed by JI owner, Jack Blanco, and produced by Spartaco Colelli in Venice. JI also imported ware by Fratelli Toso and Barbini to their New York City showroom.
I just went through the same process here with a bowl, no mark no label, but with the infor provided, I was able to find several labels, yours is upside down I think, the the gondolier on the right instead of the left.
