    Book origin unknown (native??)
    Book cover is made of bone (one side looks like a lizard & other side ???
    Strange symbols and drawings, (10 pages on each side) and 36 inches when opened. (4 inches by 3 1/2 inches when closed.

    Would like to know the origin or any info on this.

      It's not Native American, it's a traditional divination book, or "pustaha," from Indonesia. Made with pages made from bark, and in a traditional folding form, it's associated with the Batak people of Sumatra.
