Let us know. Not about the pond. You're in "Dike Hopper" country ! I was thinking about taking Dutch citizenship, but hesitate at the requirements of using a bowl to cut my hair & have my teeth spaced ! LMAO !!

Ken - yes, I have a fish pond in the back yard. The fish share it with frogs and a salamander. There are toads living in the back yard, too. :-)))

bb2 - we don't use bowls here anymore for haircuts....we've progressed to colanders, where the hair is pulled through the little holes and appropriately trimmed.

Have to see about your teeth. :-)))

      Bah hahaha!!

Could be be St Saint Louis Glass..... from France? but I thought that is acid etched, so not sure. Kinda remind me of it -- but still not sure

I will still dig around here....Okay? Beautiful Piece !!

rose - it is a bit of a puzzle. My friend thought it was made in Maastricht.

Thanks for that link. It's quite interesting that both have the name "Louis" on the bottom, but mine is a signature instead of a logo. Exactly the same vase.

Hmmm...looking farther....here's another one on Etsy:

      https://www.etsy.com/listing/265370554/st-louis-crystal-swirl-design-bud-vase

I think I will email Cristallerie de St Louis in France - nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Thanks, rose! You've been a big help.

The style of this vase is biomorphic and called "Flora", according to what I found.

I think GH LOUIS is St, the S being angular :-)
The model is really as the Flora from them!

I love your gift, and the pond is a dream :-D

Colander haircut ....now thats cutting edge! Lots of different colanders to use for variation......awesome!!! :)

The colander style hasn't gotten to SXM yet.

Kyra - I wondered that, also - you're probably right! Interesting how it differs from their usual acid etched logo.

That what I saw ( or thought I saw ) that the GH looked like it might be ST. so that is why I threw that out there before with the Link.

      Hmmm...Keep us posted!!

rose - I sent off the email this afternoon, so we'll see what happens. Strangest looking ST I've ever seen, lol!
