I am very pleased to share this lovely beautiful and quite rare, Riedel cameo class vase, I am so very thrilled about owning..
A fabulous! shape and size...10 inches tall...a deep dark blue fading softly into golden amber at the base, all over etching apart from the stylized flower and stems that are framed and highlighted with gold gilding...
The third photo has on the base the remains of the enameled design number...R819 or? R879 - or? - R317 the R is for Riedel..but! not certain of the rest if anyone can work it out that would be wonderful, thank you!
The last photo is showing the Riedel cabinet at the Passau Museum in Germany, on the second shelf at the back you will see the same vase...:-))
