Been going through my Dad's collection...1934 Havoline Sign...Doubled sided with mounting flange....This thing is shiny...not like today...it was made to last...My father was born in 1927....his first car was a 1939 Buick Roadmaster.....when he retired in the mid 1970's...he bought 2 bodies and two engines...the engines were all apart in boxes....he spent a winter building an engine, and a few years rebuild a complete car....He did it his way...backyard restoration....he had a small collection of vintage "stuff".nice piece, very good condition for 82 years old.
any one have any history on where these might have been made?...like to talk.....mountainguitars@morrisbb.net
Great find welcome to C.W.
I don't quite understand the question with all the info on Havoline available. The only thing that catches my attention, is the "wax free". I wonder if this refers to the paraffin wax base of PA oil that caused sludge buildup in those days ?
