This authentic television prop was utilized in the popular western drama
series, 'Little House On The Prairie', which ran on network television from 1974 to 1983. This item is a framed copper cameo of
'Praying Hands', made from hammered copper with a wood
frame with mitered corners. This production issued prop, which
was used on-screen in various episodes, hung on the wall in the Ingalls kitchen.
This series revolved around the 1870's adventures of the Ingalls
family. Cast members included Michael Landon, Karen Grassle,
Melissa Gilbert and others.
Note: In response to a special request. This piece is currently on loan,
and on display, in the home of an elderly western collector in the
Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
