Recently got this one.
It looks very similar to early LeCoultre movements, but I can't find an exact match. The pictures really do not do it justice!
It is a very good quality one, with a lovely dial and purple, not blue, hands.
The dial has "123" written/printed in red on the rear. The movement has "124" stamped under the dial, with no other markings on the movement except for "fast/slow" on the balance cock, which makes me think this was made for the English speaking markets.
I have no keys to wind this, and there is no stem as the watch appears to be from a gold scrapper, but the balance is good and it really wants to work, and will when I can wind it!
Hope someone can help with date, make and possible value.
Thanks, Bob.
hope someone can fix up this beauty!
Thanks FF, me too.
Have found out the balance wheel is solid gold, and the pallet has a ring counterbalance (see new photo, arrowed), a sign of quality.
Those who don't know what a balance wheel is, it is the large wheel on the right in the new photo!
