Corgi 1985 Made in Swansea, Wales UK Renault 5 boxed and unplayed with.

During the Christmas period of 1985 I went to work in a place called Mettoy's Fforestfach Swansea, Wales UK I went to put the wheels on the cars and since it was horrible and tedious I thought the warehouse dispatch department might be a better bet....It wasn't!

So I spent a month putting on wheels and tyres and then dispatching them to all corners of the earth.

Found this brand new boxed Diecast Renault Corgi today marked 1985 so someone like me put the tyres and wheels on and possibly having done a Thousand odd cars a day was quite possibly a tad bored. But over the Christmas our toys must have brought joy to thousands!
