It´s 6 months since I last posted something on CW, so time to catch up with you dear CW fellows, to share and to see what you have found.
The bangle is bakelite as well as the earclips, the black necklace is some sort of earlier plastic but I think it´s to light weight for bakelite. The yellow necklace doesn´t test positive for bakelite. So a mixture of different old plastics. I think they are wonderful if I may say so.

The early plastic jewelry, imho, is far superior to what's made today. I see more junk than I can shake a stick at in the flea markets and thrift shops.
Love these colours very much. Nowadays if you have a plentiful collection of bakelite you're sitting on a gold mine.

Thankyou Gillian I do to and I´m so inlove with vintage plastics. I love all kind off jewelry from different eras if there is something special about them in my eyes, but early plastics I love them all! Will post some more tomorrow.
Looking forward to that! I only have one piece of Bakelite, and it's a ginormous necklace which I posted a week or so ago. I would love to find a necklace made out of those big pop beads, but so far I haven't been lucky enough to find any at the flea markets or in the second hand shops.

It maybe egg yolk amber and worth a lot more than plastic.

Valentino thankyou! I´m almost sure it´s not bakelite. Looks like it but it doesn´t test positive in smell nor in swab (hope that´s the right Word in English). But it looks great anyway. I will post the yellow necklace on its´own soon, like melaniej suggested and you can see what you Think of it. I´m crazy about vintage plastics, they have a wonderful look.
