Every now and then, you have to take a punt on something. I saw this tonight on my local auction/sales site and it practically screamed "BUY ME!". So, I did. For twenty bucks.
The ring shows all the wear from years gone by, which is one thing I love about second hand jewelry.
These are the seller's photos. It looks Scandinavian to me, but maybe that's just me. I would be interested to hear your opinions about it. I prefer big rings, and this looks pretty big to me.
Oh, it's my size, too. ;-))))

shareurpassion - oh, yes! I have several rings which are not made for my middle-of-my-back length hair...but I have one which I insist on wearing 24/7. It's a thumb ring. So far, I'm not bald yet...haha!
Judy - I only know about the 925 stamp inside. No idea if there might be any more. I should get it on Tuesday or Wednesday. :-))))

ken - no, it's just a got a "hat" on, lol! The stone is an amethyst. The mark shown in the third photo are initials, the last one looks like a "W". I should have the ring by Wednesday. :-)))
