Here's an old pen & ink drawing, 15" x 12", a romantic dinner setting with lots of pretty dishes and vases all around from the Victorian era.
I've had this well over 30 years..."Somebody" was very unknowing at the time and desperately wanted to put it in this old wood frame, sooo that "Somebody" cut the picture to fit. How brilliant was that? All I can do is shake my head! That is seriously called young and dumb! I thought it wouldn't matter because I knew I would always keep it. I know I kept the signature but it's not there now so I really would like to know who's artwork I damaged.
Does anyone know the artist? I really would like to know. I believe I've seen something very similar on here before. Would any one ever admit they did something so incredibly ____!
Well, it's still very beautiful and I still love it no matter how sorry I am I did such a thing.

This looks like a double exposure to me. Top left hand side, is it an Aspidistra? It also looks like they had a food fight, and the table cloth is being pulled off. You say it's a drawing, so obviously I'm very wrong. It's just a strange picture.
Well i can tell you for sure it wasn't me who drew it but it is very beautiful. Hope you find out. I almost did the same thing.

It's quite a beautiful drawing. What a shame that someone trimmed it to fit the frame.

Gillian, I love your thoughts on this as I have thought the same thing! I can tell you that the double exposure is all me and my new camera-oh and lets not forget the glasses where this is basically the way I see things some days. I'm sure at this point you are very happy now with whatever your situation may be! haha Ahhh, wanna trade?
A lot of it too is that I did not remove the pic from the frame so the reflection that I forgot to mention in the description here, does cause...maybe I should just re take the photo! Thank you anyway, I really did get a great laugh with your comment!

I also forgot to mention, I think the man depicted here reminds me of our one and only Phil Morris. It looks a lot like his profile pic to me. Any others think so too???

So pretty--you probably got the most of it--and the positive good coming from it---you've got it in a frame and gazing at it for decades instead of rolled up in the closet.
