I picked this up at a pawn shop in Longview, Washington because I love the look of it. But I was wondering if anyone knew where it might have come from or how old it is. The clear glass is etched with a star/feather pattern. It's brass/copper. The lamp inside says Topkapi Istanbul on the bottom. I bought it cheaply because it looks neat, but I'm curious to know more about it.

It is about 23 inches tall, the top is vented. There is no mark on the enclosure anywhere.

Best guess is 1950s-'60s. A lot of glass came out of Europe in that time as it moved to Hong Kong/Japan and then China by the '80s.
Oil lamps in America were quite popular then. Most "antique" oil lamps you see are actually 1950s.
