An Item that was found. Some sort of enamel pot. White with Cobalt Blue rim. Has a spigot sticking out towards bottom. Round shape with a flat back. Possibly a purpose for hanging. Note a hole, opening in back, to use to mount. About 12 inches tall, 6 inch diameter on top. Found outside, on the ground in back of a home, near woods.

In the old days when you suffered from constipation, mothers would get the long rubber hose in the medicine cabinet and attach the hose to the bottom spout. The hose had a long black nipple-like attachment at the end. They would hang the enamel pot on a handy nail near the toilet and fill it with lukewarm water mixed with a bit of soft soap. There was injection, dejection and ejection and the rest was history until the next time. We hated telling our moms that we were constipated!

As I had many people take a look at it and say: It's something to do with Hospital use or a Maple Syrup Bucket ... Lol
Would anyone know about what year this type of Item is ?
Probably the 1930-50's for the black and white enamelled ones but they were in use in Victorian days till the store bought single use ones (disposable bottles) appeared on the market. RER
