Yellow and two tones of orange spatters on clear ground are accented with cobalt blue rigaree applications on this 5" (13 cm) tall ball vase. To add a little more interest to the shape, there are three side indentations. The rigaree is a little off-balance but not broken. The underside is marked with what appears similar to the Kralik arched acid-stamp.

Comparison of the melon-colored orange frit used on this piece with the cups on the candlesticks I posted previously shows a pretty close match. I don't know if it means much but this is the only other piece I own with this color glass.

I really love the orange and cobalt combo! I'm definitely no expert but the font in the acid stamp doesn't look like the same one I usually see associated with Kralik pieces. The arch shape of the stamp also seems a little shallow - I think of the Kralik stamp as being a full half circle. Maybe someone with an example in hand could verify one way or the other.

Again, no expert here - but stamp doesn't look right to me either. The lines seem too fine and not straight-edged enough. Many of the lines appear to terminate in 'blobs', and I don't associate this with the accepted Kralik stamp. Happy to learn otherwise though.

Thanks swfinluv1 and wow22 - you're both probably correct about the mark. I had some reservations about the O but thought they were just smeared and sort of rushed this up without due consideration.
