    I was told this chair was bought at an antique auction in NYC - it is extremely well made.
    It has a Shaker appearance - though the arrow head carvings on it belie the traditional Shaker simplicity.

    I am told it could be extremely valuable as it may have been one stolen from the Shaker community by a local Indian Tribe and decorated accordingly
    Do you think there is any truth to this/
