Reproduction Ingersoll Mickey Mouse store standee with 1934 Mickey Mouse wristwatch. These were used to promote the new Mickey Mouse watch, 11,000 of which were sold on the first day at Macy's department store. A mini factory was set up at the 1933/34 Worlds Fair in Chicago,
that allowed you to order a watch and see it assembled in front of you before presentation. A pocketwatch was also available.

Don't know how I missed this posting !! It's a lovely watch and this is the type I have, I think ha ha. Mum has messaged your friend jacz1 for some help if possible and if he gets in touch can I give him my email address to send to you please ? I would like some advice on my collection and don't want to clog up CW postings . X

Glen emailed me today to say your mom had contacted him and that he had agreed to assist her, it was very generous as he's retired now. You certainly may pass your
email address to him to pass on to me and I will be glad to offer whatever advice I
can. You can actually give it to me here in a reply and I can watch for it and delete
      it straight away.

Kerry it's a reproduction but I'm pleased to have it after years of looking for an
      original fruitlessly.

Hello! That is my favorite Ingersoll display! I've seen scant few for sale, and most might as well have been torn to shreds. Is there a way to differentiate the reproduction from the vintage piece? Thanks for posting!

There are indeed very few of these standees out there, original or otherwise, the
Originals are in major collections for the most part as far as I can determine. I’m
Speaking of the 1930’s ones, more modern ones do turn up. There is no foolproof
method of differentiation other than experience. I thank you for your interest and
      your question.
