i love collecting old, framed decorative prints from this period! this is definitely my new favorite one! i picked it up from a little antique store in Colfax, California the other day. the two women working there were as nice as can be and just loved my dog! i'd love to know more about this print - particularly who painted the original and what it is of. it looks like a war party on a river somewhere in UT, NM, AZ, or CO. any info greatly appreciated!
It absolutely is gorgeous. I did an Image search and got zero back. You might have to take it out of the frame to see if there is any info printed on the edges/back.
thank you Efes! i think it is too. even better in person. now i'm really curious where it was painted and what the scene is...

thomas moran!
from what i can tell, this is a VERY rare print of his. i could find similar ones, but not this one in all the collections i looked at online.
