I have had this for quite some time. Was not sure what it was and was informed it may be a door installing door used by carpenters in the old days. It adjusts in the opening from 1-3/8" to 3-1/8". It is about 12-1/4" when extended x 2" high x 1-1/8" thick. Wooden top pieces with a steel bottom slide piece that has a radius on it's top edge where the door bottom edge would sit. It has a spur on one side of the bottom of the wooden piece that projects about 1/4".
