Hey, I found this in an old park and my dad seems to think it's an old one. Can anyone tell me anything about it by the picture? It's clear glass with a lot of tiny air bubbles. It's about 15/16".

What I can tell you is that by the photo I can not tell you if it's old or not. I do know that I used to play with them as a kid and this was one of the 'common' marbles, but then again, most of them were considered to be common. The size, which you did state, is an important factor to collectors today so you are on a good start.

I think you are going to be surprised when you begin to come across some collections and the information on these can actually be overwhelming. There is a huge market for marbles. Look up 'vintage marbles' just for your starter. Come back here to check too. We've got marble collectors here that may be able to give you more specific info.
