I bought this dresser from my neighbor. I am trying to figure out the manufacturer. The tag on the back of the dresser is mostly ripped. Please help me figure out what the tag is stating?
Thank You

Hi there...welcome to the CW.
Love this dresser. Do you have the mirror to it too? Look in each drawer, on the bottom...all over! Not only is it torn, it's hard to see from here. I'm guessing at best, maybe Delano? no. Island. eh...can you reshoot the sticker. But check the drawers and underneath on the very bottom too. Also, even on the inside. After you take out the drawers, take a good look all over in there.
One thing I have found is a place in Michigan that does antique restoration, Weiler's Furniture Restorations. They might just know the mfg being based in Michigan. A wild guess but let's see what else we can find...or someone else here may know too.
Thank you shareurpassion. I added another chose up image of the tag. It did not come with the mirror, just dresser. Looked every corner of the dresser, found nothing else.
Ugh, this is a toughie. Thanks for the other photo. I have looked thru every ___LAND city in Michigan just for a start but maybe missed it. There are a lot of cities with "Island", and the letter before the "land" in the photo maybe looks like a "C" but then if you look at the c above that to compare, it's possible some of the letter has been rubbed off???
SO, I have come to the conclusion that someone from Michigan maybe or with the same piece of furniture will come by and just type it out to you!!! ;)
Wish I could have found it for you. Welcome to my world of research...I do this a lot and sometimes it seems like it's all day. What it is, is hit and miss at times for me. Hey, have you done a search by image? You may want to try that, it's easier or so they say.
Good luck and you are very welcome. Someone else here may know!
"FREELAND"
Dresser looks to be 2nd quarter, 20th century.

Thank you Scott. I could not find any search results on history of Freeland Furniture mfg, in Michigan. Must be a small furniture shop.
Hello shareyourpassion and scottvez,
Please check out the following link, there is picture of similar dresser for a company called Estey Furniture.

What do you think?
I think that you will find numerous companies that made SIMILAR dressers. Your dresser has different pulls and skirt.
This style was very popular in the early to mid 20th century.

There is a Leland in Michigan. Maybe City of Commerce has records of a Leland furniture company. There is a Leland International Furniture Co. but they were established in 1991.
I have owned the beautiful quarter sawn, serpentine front mirrored dresser for 50 years. Mine came across the Rockies with pioneers that settled in the Salt Lake Valley. Mine still has the sticker on the back. It’s made by the Winnebago Furniture Company of Fon du Lac Wisconsin. By the way, that is the original hardware.
Typo... Fon du Lac Michigan
Hello, this is from West Michigan furniture company in Holland Michigan
