It is beautiful, lucky you. Do you drink tea? Great display piece either way!

thank you maryh1956! yes, i do like a hot cup of tea now and then.

I drink tea made with loose black tea every day, the British way (I’m from Scotland) with milk. I gave a lot of my teapots away, as I couldn’t lift them when full due to arthritis in my hands. Wish I had a spot just to display them.

Something "magical" about the way this one looks. Love it! [;>)

thank you mary and Nevada. this one's a keeper! but i sure would like to know who made it. the glaze reminds me of John Glick's glazes.

      Hello again,...
I can't keep up with you on a good day. I did see a piece very similar to this, that was marked Mexico. It was so stunning I noticed it right away. It was not a teapot but the look was exactly the same. I loved it, but didn't know. It was still there a couple days ago. I'll get a pic if it's still there tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

thanks OneGoodFind! i collect some mexican pottery, but i've never seen this kind of super-gritty stoneware used in mexico [not that my observations could ever be more than subjective]. let me know what you find though! a name attached?

I agree ho2. I don't know much about much but it was a large piece and I am so out of room. Your teapot is so awesome and Mexico was not what I thought I was going to see either.
      I'll let you know...if it's still there.
