this old Solingen steel trapper is a cool knife.
I believe its a vintage white tail cutlery made knife. ive seen a few with the same handles and design bearing different logos.
not sure of its age, my guess @ 1980.
if any of you can point me in a better direction as to its maker and age, please feel free to do so. mine are purely speculation.

C'mon, whyatt. NOTHING by Whitetail is "OLD." The company's only been around about 30 years or so. Or are you the guy who lists "antique" knives on eBay "made in the 1970s"? :-)
I didn't specify antique. and items over 20 yrs old are often referred to as vintage.. it IS a correct usage of the word.
furthermore, my knives aren't for sale.
I do believe its at least that old. it being of Solingen steel. its any ones guess to the maker. white tail cutlery is a crap shoot. frost perhaps, but its not bearing either logo.
doesn't much matter. its good steel and itll NEVER be yours, ron.lol
