    This has been in my family for as long as I can remember. I have not seen another statue like this. It is hollow on the inside. I do not know if it is ceramic or porcelain. It has 25 Italy painted in gold on the bottom. It is 13.5 inches high.

      Since "Italy" is written on the bottom in the same gold leaf paint as the trim on the figure then I would say yes, it is from Italy. Appears to be porcelain. Very beautiful.
