    Also pictured is a tin chalkboard from the 70's.
    Both were picked up at a great price at the Antique Market in Bouckville.
    The '34 one had to be cleaned up a bit.
    For someone who did not want to get into menu boards, I must admit I am happy with the half dozen, or so, I have.

      I have three chalk menu boards myself and agree they can be enchanting. That 30's version is among my favorites, very nice (I don't have that one).

      Thanks DN. I agree on the 30's one. I think it's because of how the art style goes down one side and the bottom. Not balanced, but it works. I'm a big fan of the Art Deco era, especially it's architecture. Chrysler Building in NY always gets my attention.
