This is a Tape Rotary Calendar Alarm Clock.
I'm not sure who actually manufactured this clock although it resembles the Lux Rotary Alarm and the Kal Klock Rotary alarm. Unlike the lid on the Kal Klock, which is lifted off, this one is hinged at the back.
The movement top plate is marked with three patent numbers which I looked up under U.S. Patents, which are patents for the clock movement:
1563431 - patent issued to Andrew H. Neureuther of Peru, Ill., and assigned to the Western Clock Co. issued on Dec. 1, 1925.
1709146 - patent issued to Andrew H. Neureuther of Peru, Ill., and assigned to the Western Clock Co. issued on April 16, 1929.
1848520 - patent issued to W. B. Eddison of Ardsley on Hudson, New York, issued on March 8, 1932.
I found a design patent, D110489 that is a case like this one shown, and is issued to the inventor, Herbert W. Lamport, on July 12, 1938.
With this I know the clock movement was assigned to the Western Clock Co. and the case design was assigned to H.W. Lamport, but still not sure who actually manufactured this particular clock.
By opening the dome lid, the clock and alarm can be wound, the time (tape dial) can be set, the alarm dial on top can be set and the alarm on / off lever can be set.
The day of the week, month and date of the month is set by turning and lifting the crown & stem on the back of the case. With the stem all the way down, you set the date, with it half way up, you set the month and with the stem all the way up, you set the day of the month. This has to be done manually every day for the day & date and once on the first of each month to set the correct month.
    Thanks for looking,
    Dave
