I'm looking for some help trying to figure out who makes this dining room set. It was left to me by my grandmother. It has never been used. She said it was hand carved and very expensive when she bought it. Trying to get knowledgeable about this set and figure out who would want something like this so that it's appreciated. Any help would be appreciated. I don't see any markings anywhere. Pictures don't really do it justice. It's very grand!

Very Pretty! grandma had top taste in my Opinion. I see Grandma has some Italian glassware too in her cabinet. Maybe the maker of the furniture is European too? As I am not sure where you are located.

top quality furniture like that HAS to be marked on a drawer side or back, or underneath --- I am sure one of these pieces would have a mark some where or a label

YIKES that is fussy- but I love it! Italian Rococo Renaissance? Spectacular.

It needs a LARGE room to match the scale of the furniture! And I agree - there MUST be a mark inside a drawer, or somewhere!

I think it's Settocento Rococo possibly?

Nice going Celiene! And you see the size of the room in the link? ;) I would imagine this is top $ especially if that is the original upholstery on the chair! She kept it in immaculate condition! I'd like to see some of that glass too!

I'd like to see the painted table top, and that table to the left of the table in picture #3!

Sad that someone would buy such a spectacular piece and NEVER use it!

I have recently came upon the same set. Did you ever find out the value of this beautiful dining room set? And if so did you find out the maker?
